MUJ Champions Grassroots Education and Hygiene with New Facilities at Begas School
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Dr. Nitu Bhatnagar, Provost, Manipal University Jaipur, who graced the event as the Chief Guest. Addressing students, teachers, and community members, Dr. Bhatnagar highlighted the importance of creating an environment conducive to both learning and well-being. “Education must go hand-in-hand with health and dignity. This initiative reflects our commitment to both,” she remarked. Adding to the significance of the event, Brig. Ripu Sudan, Director General, Services & Administration, MUJ, and Col. Amit Agarwal, Director-Purchase, MUJ, were also present. Dr. Poonam Yadav, Principal, Govt. High School Begas welcomed all to the event.
Adding to the vibrancy of the occasion, the team from Radio Manipal Jaipur 90.8 FM, the community radio station of Manipal University Jaipur, engaged attendees with interactive activities. The station has been actively contributing to educational, social, and scientific awareness initiatives within the local community.
Representatives from the Manipal Foundation expressed gratitude to the school authorities, volunteers, and community members for their support and participation. They reaffirmed their commitment to continuing impactful initiatives aimed at fostering inclusive development and strengthening grassroots education. Dr. Poonam Yadav, Principal, Mahatma Gandhi Govt. High School, Begas expressed her gratitude to MUJ for its continued commitment to community development.
This CSR effort stands as a testament to Manipal University Jaipur’s dedication to sustainable community development and its active role in promoting health and education at the grassroots level.
