Misbehavior Towards Healthcare Workers is Condemnable: President Murmu

President Droupadi Murmu addressed the 10th Convocation of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Sciences and Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in New Delhi this evening. In her address, the President said that everyone should understand that doctors take all measures to save the lives of the patients, but still if any untoward incident happens, one should not misbehave with the doctors or hospital staff.

She said, many times, in a fit of rage, the family members of the patients misbehave with the healthcare workers which is wrong and condemnable. President Murmu said, that no doctor wants to harm his patients, but sometimes even science does not have all the solutions.
 
Union Health Minister J P Nadda were present on the occasion along with other dignitaries.
