Rajasthan: Karni Sena President shot dead in broad daylight

JAIPUR: In a ghastly inciedent the president of Karni Sena Sukhveer Singh Gogamedhi shot dead in Rajasthan’s Jaipur today.According to reports,unknown miscreants opened fire near the house of Sukhveer Singh Gogamedhi. Four unknown miscreants allegedly had come near Sukhveer Singh's house in Jaipur.

The miscreants also shot his gunman Narendra. As soon as information about the incident was received, Shyam Nagar police station reached the spot. Police is busy investigating CCTV.

The incident took place behind Dana Paani restaurant in Shyam Nagar. Sampat Nehra of Lawrence Vishnoi gang had earlier threatened him. A memorandum was given to Jaipur Police on the matter.

Where the bullets hit Sukhdev Singh Gogamedhi and who fired them has not been revealed yet.

Sukhdev Singh Gogamedhi was associated with Rashtriya Karni Sena for a long time. After the dispute in the Karni Sena organization a long time ago, he had formed a separate organization by the name of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena. Gogamedhi was its president.

He came into limelight due to the protests in Rajasthan after the film Padmavat and gangster Anandpal encounter case. Many of his videos regarding this issue also went viral.
