Iranian Missile After US Attack Causes Heavy Destruction,Over 40 Missiles Fired

Hours after the U.S. attacked three of Iran's nuclear facilities, Iran fired over 40 missiles at Israel on Sunday, injuring 23 people and destroying apartment buildings and several homes in three cities.

In Tel Aviv, an explosion at one site obliterated a multi-story residential building, damaging several other structures within a hundreds-of-meters radius, including a nursing home.

Deputy Mayor Haim Goren, assisting at the scene, described it as “miraculous” that more people were not injured in the attack.

Ofer Berger, who lives on the seventh floor of a high-rise near the blast site, said, “It feels like a storm tore through my apartment. All the apartments in this area are destroyed.” Berger expressed hope that the war with Iran would end soon, adding, “Most tit-for-tat attacks like this end with many tragic events.”

Outside the damaged buildings, residents sat with their pets and suitcases. Dozens of volunteers from an organization called ‘One Heart’ were seen helping residents salvage their belongings.

According to the Israeli military, over 9,000 people have been displaced from their homes due to attacks since the war began. The missiles damaged 240 residential buildings, including over 2,000 individual apartments. Meira Goshen reported that her entire apartment was destroyed.
