Talcher boy who lost Mom last month stands second in UPSC exam

ANGUL: Animesh Pradhan, 26 stood second in the Union Public Service Examination,2023.He is a resident of Talcher. He was born in Bhalugadia village of Talcher block which has been now displaced by Mahanadi Coalfield limited.
 
Animesh's father Prabhakar Pradhan was the principal of Hingula plus three college.he died in 2015.His mother who got service in MCL in lieu of their land also died of cancer some months ago.Animesh has a sister who got married.
 
 
 According to reports,Animesh studied from class 1 to class 12 at Kalinga DAV school Talcher.He secured 98 per cent mark in Kalinga DAV examination. Then he moved to study Bi-Tech at NIIT,Rourkela.After completing B.Tech Animesh got a job in Indian oil as engineer. During his job he appeared for the civil service examination last year and was successful in his first attempt.
