Tejashwi Accuses PM Modi of 'Double-Character',Says BJP Concocting Ploys to Divert Attention from Vote Theft
In a lengthy post on X on Wednesday, referencing past statements by PM Modi and BJP leaders, he called them people of "double character" who are orchestrating ploys to divert attention from vote theft.
Responding to PM Modi's reaction to an alleged derogatory remark controversy, Tejashwi wrote on X, "A mother is a mother. The mere mention of the word 'mother' brings immense comfort. Even the voiceless have a mother. No one should use derogatory words against anyone's mother, sister, or daughter. Every human, animal, and bird in this world is born of a mother."
He further wrote, "When PM Modi campaigns for Prajwal Revanna, accused of raping women and girls, and appeals for his victory, it’s hailed as Modi’s masterstroke. When Modi calls someone’s mother a '50-crore girlfriend,' it’s 'Wow, Modi ji!' When Modi insults the wife of a martyred, courageous former PM and the Leader of Opposition’s mother by calling her a widow or a Jersey cow, shameless people say Modi gave a brilliant speech."
Tejashwi added, "When PM Modi questioned CM Nitish Kumar’s lineage by saying his DNA is faulty, implying his blood is impure or wrong, was that acceptable? JDU leaders should clarify if the report from the nails and hair sent to the PMO has arrived. Just days ago, Modi’s whip insulted my mother in the Bihar Assembly, and Modi patted him on the back. And then they say Modi is great!"
He continued, "When a BJP leader threatened our spokesperson with rape in public, Modi honoured him by inviting him onto his plane. Their state president, Dilip Jaiswal, was shedding crocodile tears yesterday, but just days ago, he boasted that no one could outdo him in hurling abuses and that he’s a walking shop of insults."
He further said thousands of farmers died during the farmers’ protests, youth and farmers are committing suicide, laborers walked miles during the lockdown, and lakhs died—yet he didn’t cry.
Adding,he said,”Our soldiers were killed in Pulwama, Pehlgam, and Galwan Valley, but his tears didn’t flow. These are people of double character, concocting ploys to divert attention from vote theft. A mother is a mother."
Earlier, speaking to journalists, Tejashwi said that the people of Bihar and the country know and understand everything. This showy, adulterated politics won’t work. He remarked that PM Modi was abroad and shed tears upon returning.
Regarding the NDA’s Bihar bandh call for September 4, he said they have no issues to raise. "The BJP is scared. The massive public support during the Voter Rights Yatra has increased their restlessness."
