Thumb impressions taken after death of elderly woman to grab property

AGRA: The video of taking thumb impression from a dead old woman in Agra is fast going viral on social media. This video is being told of 2021.

The relative of the woman has lodged a complaint in this matter at Sadar police station market of Agra. According to the information, Jitendra Sharma, a Jat resident of Sewla, has said that his maternal grandmother Kamla Devi had died on 8 May 2021. After the death of his maternal grandmother, some people have grabbed her property by taking fake thumb impressions.

It has been said in the allegation that the deceased had no children. The complainant has said that after the death of Nani, his brother-in-law's sons Vaijnath and Anshul took him away from the house after talking about taking him to Agra hospital. Going ahead, stopped the car on the way and called the lawyer and took his thumb impression. It has been said in the allegation that their shops, houses and property have been usurped by these people by making fake wills.

Jitendra says that his grandmother used to sign and did not put her thumb impression. After his death, his property has been usurped by taking his thumb impression. He has also released a video in which a lawyer is taking the thumb impression of the deceased grandmother in a car. Jitendra has complained to the District Magistrate and Senior Superintendent of Police of Agra and said that action should be taken against the culprits.
