After landing of Chandrayaan-3, Vikram sent first pictures of moon

 NEW DELHI:India's Chandrayaan-3 created history by successfully soft landing on the Moon. Chandrayaan-3's lander Vikram landed on the Moon's South Pole at its scheduled time. Lander Vikram is working properly after the successful landing on the Moon. Lander Vikram has sent pictures for the first time after landing on the lunar surface. ISRO tweeted four images sent from the lunar surface. These pictures were taken from the Horizontal Velocity Camera of Lander Vikram.

Scientists  jubilant

Tweeting the pictures, ISRO wrote that the communication link has been established between the Ch-3 lander and MOX-ISTRAC, Bengaluru. Here are the pictures taken by the Lander Horizontal Velocity Camera during descent. Earlier, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) scientists rejoice after the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 at the Mission Operations Complex of ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) in Bengaluru.

 

 

 Scientist was working for four years

After Chandrayaan's moon landing, U.R. Kellogg wanted us to be successful, said M. Sankaran, director of the Rao Satellite Center. ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 project team has made tremendous efforts. He has been working on Chandrayaan-3 for the last four years. Sankaran also said that the Chandrayaan-3 team got full support from navigation, propulsion and other teams. According to him, this success has put more responsibility on him. He said that the entire mission went flawlessly and on time. Chandrayaan-3 Project Director P. Veeramuthuvel said, India is the first country in the world to go close to the South Pole of the Moon.

Lessons from the failure of Chandrayaan-2

Referring to the safe landing of the Moon lander, Associate Project Director Kalpana said that it was the most remarkable and happy moment for the Chandrayaan-3 team. He said that learning from the failure of Chandrayaan-2, whatever goals were set by the team after making Chandrayaan-3 have been achieved.
