Akhilesh Yadav Attacks BJP Government
Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday targeted the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttar Pradesh, alleging that a "competition of corruption" is underway among the police, tehsil, and construction sectors under the BJP government.
Sharing a video on X of a newly constructed road crumbling, the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister wrote, "The construction under corrupt BJP is just like the BJP: shiny on the outside, hollow inside!"
Yadav further alleged, "The truth is that in the BJP government, there is a 'competition of corruption' between the police, tehsil, and construction works." He claimed that "to fulfill the government's hidden agendas, officers are selectively appointed who are willing to go to any extent to commit wrongdoings in order to please the government. They have neither principles in their own lives nor value for the lives of others."
He added, "In the BJP government, the stains on an officer's reputation are considered their medals. In the BJP, falling low is the guarantee of rising high."
