Congress President Kharge accuses PM Modi of telling '11 big lies' in 11 years
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of "lying" to the country, alleging that he has told 11 major lies during his 11-year tenure.
Addressing an event organized to mark the launch of the Kalyan Path Project in Jewargi, Kharge accused Modi of failing to fulfill his promises.
The project aims to construct 1,166 kilometers of roads across 38 rural constituencies in Kalyana Karnataka, in line with the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, at an investment of ?1,000 crore.
The Congress President alleged, "In 11 years, Modi has told 11 big lies . The first lie is about bringing back black money from abroad and depositing ?15 lakh into people's bank accounts. The second lie is about creating 2 crore jobs every year. But I still don’t understand why our youth support him. Do they do so based on caste, religion, or behavior? I can’t figure it out."
