BHUBANESWAR: Popular Odia bhajan singer Santilata Barik Chhotray has become seriously ill.After she felt unwell she was admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaheswar for treatment.
Santilata Barik, a popular name in Odia music industry in the state, has lent her voice to a large number of Odia Bhajan songs, including ‘Jagannath tume bada chhalia’, ‘Thaka Mana Chala Jiba’, ‘Mun je Deula Bedha’, and Kaaliare.
