Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to receive UK's 'Lifetime Achievement Honour' in Delhi

To mark the completion of 75 years of India's independence, for the first time 75 people who have achieved achievements in various fields have been honored with the 'India-UK Achievers Honours', while some have been conferred with the 'Outstanding Achievers'. "Life Time Achievement Honor" in Oxford and Cambridge Universities Dr. Singh's contribution is underlined. Opposition Labor Party MP Virender Sharma in Britain was also honored with the 'Living Legend Honour'.

Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) spokesperson and Rajya Sabha member Raghav Chadha, CEO of Serum Institute of India Adar Poonawala and Indian women's football team goalkeeper Aditi Chauhan are among those honored with the 'Outstanding Achievers' award.
