Odisha congress holds Tiranga yatra to express solidarity with Indian armed forces

 BHUBANESWAR:Tiranga Yatra to mark respect the Indian armed forces was held by Pradesh Congress Committee under PCC President Bhakta Charan Das today to express solidarity with the courage and valour of Indian armed forces.

The Yatra which was started from Ram Mandir was ended at Master canteen Chhak. The Sevadal activists organised there a Salami programme in honour of Indian armed forces. Hundreds of congress workers having the placards and banner had raised Jay Hind and Jai Jawan’.Patriotic songs were also played during the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion PCC President Bhakata Charan Das said that the congress party is proud of Indian Defence forces who had given befitting reply to Pakistan. He said Indian armed forces are well-equipped and duty-full to tackle any sort of terrorists activities. He expressed his solidarity behind Indian armed forces who are giving befitting reply to the Pakistani aggression. He said congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and LoP Rahul Gandhi also praised the valour of Indian armed forces in dealing with terrorists and Pakistan.

 

 Speaking on the occasion, Odisha in-charge Ajay Kumar Lallu said that the Indian soldiers are fighting on the borders to protect the unity and sovereignty of the country. He said there is no parallel behind their patriotism and dedication.

In the meeting the AICC CFo-in charge Rosalin Tirkey, congress leaders Niranjan Patnaik,Jaydev Jena,Prasad Harichandan,Sarat Rout,Srikant Jena,Tara Prasad Bahini Pati among others also spoke.
