Gaurav Gogoi Questions PM Modi on Trump's Claims Regarding Operation Sindoor

(Fast Mail):-- During the discussion on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha today, the Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi, said that the primary objective of discussing Operation Sindoor is to bring out the truth—truth about the operation, the Pahalgam attack, and foreign policy.

Gaurav Gogoi said that Rajnath Singh spoke extensively about the valour of the armed forces but failed to explain how the terrorists entered. He emphasized that they would continue to ask questions in the interest of the nation. "We want to know how those terrorists reached there," he added.

Gogoi added that the terrorists' intent was to disrupt communal harmony in the country. He expressed disappointment that while Rajnath Singh spoke about the soldiers, he did not address the plight of the people.

He highlighted how the people of the valley assisted during the Pahalgam attack, and tourists from across the country thanked the people of Jammu and Kashmir, which the nation witnessed.

Gogoi stated in Parliament that during the Pahalgam attack, Rahul Gandhi clearly said that in this hour, the opposition stands with the government. The nation wants to know why the government has failed to apprehend the perpetrators of the attack that killed their loved ones. He pointed out that someone provided shelter and assistance to those terrorists, yet even after 100 days, the government has no answers.

Gogoi remarked that despite having advanced facilities, the government has failed to act. For an hour after the attack, neither ambulances nor soldiers could reach the site, as they were arriving on foot. The atmosphere of fear was such that people panicked upon seeing soldiers. He said Rajnath Singh should have addressed this issue.

Gogoi called the government cowardly, stating that it has become arrogant. He said that the opposition would question why PM Modi, upon returning from abroad, went to Bihar instead of Pahalgam. "If anyone went to Pahalgam, it was Rahul Gandhi. He is the one raising the demand for martyr status for those killed in the attack," Gogoi said.

During the discussion on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha, Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi remarked that Rajnath Singh's speech was unclear about the timeline it was addressing.

He said the government repeatedly claims it will "enter homes and strike" after every attack, as it did after Pulwama and now Pahalgam, yet such statements continue. The aim should have been to capture PoK, but the government is saying something else. Under this government, terrorist attacks like Uri, Pulwama, and now Pahalgam have occurred. If Even One Rafale Was Lost During Operation Sindoor, It’s a Big Deal - Gaurav GogoiGogoi stated that if even a single Rafale was lost during the operation, it is a significant matter since the country has only 35 Rafale jets.

"We were told we have the best fighter jets. If so, why did the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) say that our fighter jets made a mistake initially and then planned attacks from a distance?"

Gogoi questioned why the targets were reduced from 21 to 9.Who Ordered the Ceasefire, Modi Ji Must Tell the Nation - Gaurav GogoiRegarding the ceasefire, Gaurav Gogoi said that the nation was prepared for war, but the ceasefire was called. "Who did you bow to, Modi Ji? You must tell the nation," he demanded. Gogoi noted that Trump has claimed 26 times that he mediated, stating that 5-6 jets were lost during the operation. He asked the government to clarify how many jets were lost.

Gogoi further said that while PM Modi was pleased with Brazil’s condemnation of the Jammu and Kashmir attack, why was Pakistan not condemned? What does the government have to say about the IMF funds given to Pakistan? "Does Modi Ji lack the strength to address this?" he asked.

Gogoi urged the Modi government not to be afraid, stating that the opposition stood with them then and stands with them now. "Do not consider us your enemy; we are speaking in the interest of our country. But please, tell us the truth. The more you lie, the more we will ask what you have done," he said.Gogoi expressed disappointment that they expected the government to speak responsibly today, but that did not happen. He said that media reports suggested the government would take the fight to Karachi, but it pulled back.
