Narendra Modi takes oath as Prime Minister for the third time

NEW DELHI:Narendra Modi took oath as Prime Minister for the third time on Sunday evening. President Draupadi Murmu administered the oath of Prime Minister to Narendra Modi in the courtyard of Rashtrapati Bhavan. After the Prime Minister, members of his cabinet took oath as ministers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given proper representation to the allies, different regions of the country and experience in his cabinet.

Immediately after Prime Minister Modi, Rajnath Singh and then Amit Shah took oath as Union Ministers. In the previous government, Rajnath Singh was the Defence Minister and Amit Shah was the Home Minister. After Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari took oath as a minister. BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda has also been included in the cabinet. After Nitin Gadkari, Nadda took oath as Union Minister. JP Nadda's tenure as party president is ending this month. He has returned to the central government.

 

 

Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and this time elected MP from Vidisha Lok Sabha seat, Shivraj Singh Chauhan has become a part of the Modi government for the first time. After party president JP Nadda, Shivraj Singh Chauhan took oath as Union Minister. After Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Nirmala Sitharaman, who was the Finance Minister in the previous government, took oath as Union Minister. After this, Dr. S Jaishankar took oath as a minister, he was the Foreign Minister in the previous government. Former Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar has also taken oath as a minister. Apart from these, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Lallan Singh, Chirag Paswan, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Ram Mohan Naidu from the alliance parties have also taken oath as ministers.

Many foreign guests were present in the courtyard of Rashtrapati Bhavan as chief guests in the swearing-in ceremony. These included the Prime Ministers of Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan and the President of Maldives. Vice President of Seychelles, Ahmed Afifi and Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Kumar Jagannath have also arrived to attend the swearing-in ceremony. Apart from the leaders of 7 countries, an army of film stars like Akshay Kumar, Shahrukh Rajinikanth were also guests of this special program.
