Oscars 2023: RRR's Natu Natu nominated for Best Original Song
NEW DELHI: The nominations for the 95th Academy Awards have been announced and as expected the song "Natu Natu" from the film RRR has been nominated for an Oscar in the Best Original Song category. This song has also won the Golden Globe in this category. Along with this, RRR has joined the select group of Indian films to go to the Oscars. Mother India, Salaam Bombay and Lagaan were nominated in the Best International Feature Film category. Oscar nominations were announced by actors Riz Ahmed and Alison Williams. The 95th Academy Awards will be held in Los Angeles on March 12.
Let us tell you that South Indian cinema's film RRR has garnered a lot of headlines around the world. Recently, the song 'Natu-Natu' of this film made history in Indian cinema by winning the Golden Globe Award. Music director MM Keeravani was awarded this historic award for this song. The song Natu-Natu was written in Telugu, but later it was composed as 'Nacho Nacho' for Hindi.
RRR was released in cinemas worldwide last year. This film was nominated for the two categories of 'Golden Globe Awards 2023' for Best Original Song and Best Non-English Film. Later this film managed to win an award.
