Silambarasan Announces New Film 'Arasan'

After winning hearts with his powerful performance in Thug Life, Silambarasan TR is now making headlines with his next film, Arasan.

The first poster of the film has taken social media by storm. Directed by Vetrimaaran, the movie will feature Silambarasan as a gangster.

His striking look in the poster, holding a sickle in one hand and a bicycle handle in the other, has already won over fans.

Previously known as STR 49, the film was the subject of much speculation. The makers have now unveiled its official title and first-look poster. However, details about the release date or promo are yet to be revealed.

Director Vetrimaaran has shared that Arasan’s story will be connected to his earlier film, Vada Chennai. Reports also suggest that actor Manikandan may appear in a cameo role.

Silambarasan TR recently received widespread praise for his role as Amar in Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life, where he starred alongside Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Abhirami, and Ashok Selvan. With Arasan, Silambarasan is set to return to the big screen in an action-packed role, and fans are eagerly awaiting the trailer and release date.
