We will liberate Bihar from corruption and unemployment and build a new Bihar :Tejashwi Yadav

PATNA: INDIA lliance's chief ministerial candidate, Tejashwi Yadav, on Friday launched a scathing attack on the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA), saying that despite two decades of government, Bihar still suffers from poverty, unemployment, corruption, and crime.

Addressing a public meeting at Mahant Miththu Das High School in Simri Bakhtiyarpur, Tejashwi said, "As a Bihari, I am pained that Bihar is still a poor state. Unemployment, corruption, and crime are rampant. We have to create a Bihar that is crime and corruption-free, where investment and development thrive."

He said, "What the NDA government failed to do in 20 years, we will accomplish in 20 months. The condition of farmers and labourers is dire. I have come to urge you all to give Tejashwi Yadav a chance."

Tejashwi said, "The NDA has been in power in Bihar for 20 years and at the center for 11 years, yet Bihar's per capita income is still the lowest in the country."

Taking a dig at the Union Home Minister Amit Shah, he said, " The BJP has hijacked 'Chacha'. If the NDA comes to power, Nitish Kumar will not become Chief Minister."

Attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tejashwi said, "Modi ji promised two crore jobs every year. Where did those 22 crore jobs go in 11 years?"

He said, "If Lalu Yadav isn't afraid of Modi, then his son won't be either. Two people have come to Bihar and are running it. Tell me, who will run Bihar—a Bihari or an outsider?"

Appealing to the youth, Tejashwi said, "Don't you want freedom from paper leaks and corruption? Form a new government and ride the new vehicle of development and progress."

Listing the achievements of his previous government, he said, "In 17 months, we provided jobs through the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), TRE-3, and TRE-4, but after that, the government couldn't maintain that pace."

Making a big promise of employment, Tejashwi said, "On November 14th, the Grand Alliance government will be formed. Tejashwi promises that after forming the government, one government job will be provided to every household."

He said that if the government is formed, the price of LPG cylinder will be reduced from Rs 1000 to Rs 500 and the old age pension will be increased to Rs 1500.
