4 children drowned in Amroha
Amroha, May 5, (Fast Mail News):-- Four children died after drowning in a pit in Uttar Pradesh's Amroha district on Friday. All the four children were residents of Bihar.
District Magistrate Balkrishna Tripathi told that laborers from Bihar work at the brick-kiln of Rajab Ali, head of Nauner village of Gajraula. All of them live here with their families. Laborer Ramji's son Sourav, Ajay's son Ajit, Narayan's daughter Sonali and Jhagadu's daughter Neha were playing near a pothole filled with rainwater on Friday morning. Suddenly, while playing, they all fell into about four feet deep water. While searching for the children here, when the family members reached near the pit, they saw that the dead bodies of the four children were floating on the water. On getting information about the incident, the District Magistrate and police officers reached the spot. The police have taken the brick-kiln owner into custody.
