China warns Taiwan’s president retaliation if she meets US House speaker during visit

(FMNews):- Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen, who arrived on a ten-day visit to America, has been warmly welcomed. On the other hand, how ever, angered by this visit, China has warned the President of Taiwan not to meet the American House Speaker.

Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen has started a ten-day US tour amidst the ever-increasing dispute with China over relations with America. She was warmly welcomed upon her arrival in America. Overwhelmed by the welcome, Tsai Ing-wen tweeted several pictures and wrote that she was elated by her reception in America.

She was received by Taiwanese Americans with the flags of the US and Taiwan. She also got down from the car and went to meet them. She greeted the people standing on the way to welcome her. Along with this, she has also sought people's opinion regarding Taiwan. She said that Taiwan has every right to connect with the world. Chinese pressure will not stop our determination to move towards the international society. Taiwanese are calm, self-confident, uncompromising, and uninhibited.

Taiwan's President's visit to America is not going down well with China. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning said that the US side continues to collude to support Taiwan independence separatist forces. China called on the United States to stop such dangerous acts, which undermine the political foundation of China-US relations.

The authorities in China said that if the Taiwanese president meets US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, China will launch a full-scale attack, as Beijing will not remain silent on the violation of its sovereignty.

The US has asked China not to use Taiwan's President's visit to the US as a pretext to escalate aggressive activity against Taiwan. National security spokesman John Kirby said Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen's arrival in the US is a routine visit. China should not use this visit as an excuse to increase any activity around the Taiwan Strait. He said that the US is aware of the tension in things right now but China should keep the path of dialogue open.
