‘Super Premium Frequent Flyer PM is in Ghana today’ : Jairam Ramesh
As he embarked on a week-long trip to five countries, including Brazil, Prime Minister Modi said on Wednesday that India is committed to BRICS as a vital platform for cooperation among emerging economies.
Modi is traveling to attend the BRICS Summit in Brazil and to strengthen India’s ties with several key Global South countries. During this trip, he will visit Brazil, Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, and Namibia.
Ramesh posted on X, “The Super Premium Frequent Flyer Prime Minister is in Ghana today. Until the mid-1960s, Kwame Nkrumah dominated Ghana and indeed African politics, a towering figure. He shared a very warm relationship with Jawaharlal Nehru, which began well before Ghana’s independence in March 1957.”
