Lok Sabha Elections: Police personnel who have completed three years in a district to be transferred
In the letter issued by the Police Headquarters, it has been said that in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections-2024, Additional Superintendent of Police, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Inspector and Sub-Inspector whose services have completed three years in a district or it will be completed on 31st May 2024 and they should be transferred from that district to another district. Along with this, if there is any complaint against them, the government should constitute a screening committee for screening and send the report of the committee to the government through the Director General of Police within a week.
It has also been said that the process of transfer of Inspector and Sub-Inspector must be completed by 30th September. Besides, a letter has also been sent to the police headquarters informing them that there are no inspectors or sub-inspectors left for transfer and adjustment at the district level.
