Youth arrested on kidnapping and raping minor in Pallahara
ANGUL: Pallahara police have arrested one 21-year-youth on the charge of kidnapping and having physical relationship with a 15-year-old girl of that area.The girl was first reported missing and after her rescue she alleged forcible physical relationship by the youth.The arrested youth is Tiku Samal of Lahunipara village under Pallahara police station.
According to police sources,the girl passed matric was missing from her village on 24th July.Her family members lodged a complaint at Pallahara police station on the next day.Police swung into action immediately and rescued the girl on 26th July from Lahunipada.
Then the girl lodged a report in police station that she was forcibly kidnapped and had physical relationship with the accused.Police arrested the accused today and sent to court.The girl was sent to Sakhi home at Pallahara,said police.
PCC Spokes Person Jagadananda Pradhan has expressed concern over the rising crime against the woman and demanded strong action against the culprit.
