Tejashwi Yadav's Question on Bihar Elections: 'Why is the Election Commission Preparing a New Voter List?'
He questioned why the BJP-RSS and NDA are trying to weaken the Constitution and democracy. "We have asked some questions to the BJP's puppet Election Commission. Please read and share with others," he said.
The Grand Alliance has alleged that the Election Commission is deliberately removing the names of poor, laborer, and Dalit communities from the voter list. RJD leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav called it a well-planned conspiracy aimed at undermining democracy.
On Friday, the Grand Alliance held a press conference in Patna, accusing the BJP and the Election Commission of working together. Tejashwi Yadav stated that the existing list of 80 million voters in Bihar is being discarded to create a new list. He questioned why such haste is being shown just before the elections. He further claimed that the BJP fears defeat and is therefore attempting to suppress the votes of poor and marginalized communities.
