BJP's Graph : South Mein Saaf, North Mein Half! Undercurrent in favour of INDIA in LS Poll !
NEW DELHI:After the first phase poll over, the congress has said that the INDIA bloc is far ahead of the BJP and has an undercurrent in favour of the bloc.
Polling in the first phase was held for 102 seats across 21 states and Union territories on Friday.
In a post on X, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said, "BJP's Graph: South Mein Saaf, North Mein Half!.Ground reports clearly show the INDIA coalition far ahead of BJP."
He said,” BJP's performance is very poor in several key states. Because of these trends, BJP leaders are in panic since yesterday - PM's tweet is an indication of this panic.BJP candidates have openly admitted that they will have to work hard this time as there is no Modi wave”.
"We have swept Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra, and performed strongly in Bihar, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh," he claimed.
He claimed that the PM has been "uninspiring" in his campaign speeches and interviews. His attacks on INDIA seem tired and full of absurdities. He is talking about anything. “The Prime Minister has completely failed to set the agenda for the election. The rhetoric of "crossing 400" and changing the constitution has backfired at the ground level”,he said.
The Congress' guarantees, backed by the strong performance of our state governments, are gaining traction across the country, Ramesh added.
"The undercurrent is gaining strength. A wave is now brewing!" he said.
