Congress leadership mission to ensure victory of the party in 2024 poll: Natarajan
BHUBANESWAR: Congress party can be strengthened from the grassroots level 'if leadership can be developed among the youth' and that is why the party has launched a ‘Leadership Development Mission’ (LDM), the former MP and observer Meenakshi Natarajan said today..
Speaking at a workshop on the ‘Leadership Development Mission’ (LDM),held at Odisha Pradesh Congress Bhawan ,the former MP and observer Meenakshi Natarajan said that the party can be strengthened from the grassroots level if leadership can be developed among the youth. This mission is enhancing our strength of the Congress party at the grass root level in constituencies reserved for Schedule Castes (SCs) and Schedule Tribes (STs)”.
Ms. Natarajan said that the coordinators are working with determination and the leadership development mission of the Congress will play a major role in making the Congress candidates victorious in the reserved Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies in the current general elections.
A workshop on the ‘Leadership Development Mission’ (LDM),among its co-coordinators was held at Odisha Pradesh Congress Bhawan under the chairmanship of Mr. Banknidhi Behera, President of Scheduled Tribes Department of Congress.In the beginning of the programme,the chief guest Natrajan along with other guests garlanded the phto of the founder of the Constitution Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and offered floral tributes..
Attending on the occasion, the All India Congress Committee Secretary Harsh Vardhan said that it is the aim of the Congress to strengthen the party at the grassroots level. LDM is committed to sharing people's joys and sorrows and working at the grass root level. Coordinators are working a the grass root level to solve their problems.”The upcoming elections are very important for us. That's why we have stressed on how to win the Congress candidates in the respective constituencies”,he said.
PCC Media Department Chairman Dr. Biswaranjan Mohanty, All India Women's Congress Secretary Sasmita Behera, former MLA Krishnachandra Shagaria, former minister Saraswati Hembram, PCC Fisherman Congress President Haldhar Sethi, Jitendra Biswal, PCC Scheduled Tribes Department President Amir Chand Naik spoke on the occasion.
The programme was coordinated by Mr. Manas Mallik while the vote of thanks was delivered by Anima Minj.Among others attended were Mr. Jayant Bhoi, Ashish Kumar Lenka, Tarun Mishra, Mihiracharya, Sanjay Tripatha, Jayaram Patnaik, Ranjan Kumar Jena, Cheduri Sarojpatar Maha, Manoranjan Mishra, Suresen Mallik, Vivekananda among others. Pati, Sukumar Pradhan, Sudarshan Biswal, Saubhagya Ranjanbastia, Kedar Nath Sahu, Maphraj Bagh, Dhirendra Mohanty, Anil Mohanty, Sanath Pradhan, Dekshisha Bhushan Nayak, Abhishit Dal Behera, Litu Biswal and coordinators.
