The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) had launched the solar mission on September 2. Earlier, ISRO had created history by successfully landing Chandrayaan 3 on the Moon. After the successful launch of this rocket, ISRO had said that the Aditya-L1 vehicle has successfully separated from the PSLV rocket. This mission of India will help in unveiling the mysteries related to the Sun.
According to scientists, there are five 'Lagrangian' points (or parking areas) between the Earth and the Sun, upon reaching which an object stops there. Lagrange points are named after the Italian-French mathematician Joseph-Louis Lagrange for his prize-winning research paper 'Essay sur le probleme des trois corps, 1772'.
ISRO officials had said that as the 23.40 hour countdown ended, the 44.4 meter long Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) lifted off spectacularly into the sky at the scheduled time of 11.50 am from the space center at Sriharikota, about 135 km from Chennai. had left.
