'Gadar 2' May Be Hit But Sunny Deol's Flop Show In Parliament… Just One Question In Four Years!
(Fast Mail News): Sunny Deol is currently enjoying a lot for the success of his film 'Gadar 2'. In the theatres, the audience is clapping and whistling on his dialogues.
'Gadar 2', which released last week, has done a business of more than Rs 300 crore at the box office. Apart from the silver screen, Sunny Deol whose real name is Ajay Singh Dharmendra Deol has another identity.
He represents the people of Gurdaspur Lok Sabha seat in Punjab. How ever,Sunny Deol has proved to be a 'super flop' in this role. Singh had won the election in 2019 on a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket. He rarely appeared in Parliament. In the 12 sessions of the 17th Lok Sabha held so far, Sunny Deol has asked only one question. He has spent very little even from the MPLAD fund. Read, Sunny Deol's report card as an MP.
Sunny Deol did not go to Parliament, busy promoting Gadar 2
As an MP, the seriousness of Sunny Deol can be gauged from the fact that in the recent monsoon session, the opposition brought a no-confidence motion. Sunny did not appear in Parliament during this period. He was engaged in the promotion of the film 'Gadar 2'.
The discussion on the no-confidence motion went on for three days, then voting took place. The BJP issued whips to all its Lok Sabha MPs. Sunny flouted that too and disappeared from the entire session. Did not even participate in voting on Delhi Services Bill.
