Shashi Kapoor had to sell his car for money

Mumbai, Mar 18, (Fast Mail News):-- Today is the birthday of actor Shashi Kapoor, who left a mark in Bollywood with his powerful performance. Bollywood industry actor Shashi Kapoor may not be among us today, but he will always remain in the hearts of the audience with his powerful films.

 

Veteran Bollywood actor Shashi Kapoor has carved a niche for himself in the industry. Shashi Kapoor, who graced the big screen with many hit films in Bollywood, also had to face financial crisis. He was supported by his wife Jennifer in this difficult time. Shashi Kapoor's films were becoming hits in the 60s. But, suddenly he stopped getting work. This worsened Shashi's financial condition. Shashi Kapoor's son had mentioned this in an interview.

 

 

 

During this, actor Shashi Kapoor almost stopped getting work. In such a situation, Shashi had to sell his favorite sports car. Not only this, his wife Jennifer also had to sell some of her belongings for money. After this, Nanda did the film "Jab Jab Phool Khile" with Shashi Kapoor, which was a super hit. Along with acting, Shashi Kapoor also made some films.

 

Amitabh Bachchan's film "Ajooba" was directed by Shashi Kapoor. At that time this film was made in 8 crores. However, when the film was released, it proved to be a superflop. Shashi Kapoor had suffered a loss of around 3.50 crores due to this film. Shashi's financial condition had worsened due to this loss. At that time Shashi had to sell some of his property to compensate for this loss. Therefore, even during the film "Utsav" he had to suffer a loss of about Rs 1.5 crore.
