Bihar's 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' Concludes: Rahul Gandhi Says, 'This Theft is Not Just of Votes, But of Rights'

 (Fast Mail):The Congress party's 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' which started from Chhapra, reached Ara in Bihar concluded its final day today, August 30, 2025.

Addressing a public rally in Ara, the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi launched a sharp attack on alleged electoral irregularities.

He stated that the yatra, which began in Bihar, will now spread across the country, emphasizing, "This theft is not just of votes, but of your rights."

Gandhi accused "PM Modi and RSS of running a government for Adani and Ambani" and vowed that not a single vote would be stolen in Bihar.'

The Voice Raised from Bihar Will Echo Nationwide'

Rahul Gandhi said that the revolution sparked by the 'Voter Adikar Yatra' in Bihar would spread across the country,alleging that the BJP "stole votes" in Maharashtra, Haryana, and the Lok Sabha polls, but asserted that such actions would not be allowed in Bihar.

'Not a Single Vote Will Be Stolen'

In the Ara rally, Gandhi reiterated that his priority is to ensure the integrity of voter lists and protect every citizen’s voting rights. He said, "We will not let a single vote be stolen in Bihar. What they did in Maharashtra, Haryana, and the Lok Sabha will not happen here."

"This is Not Just About Votes, But Theft of Rights"

Gandhi emphasized that the 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' is not merely a political event but a nationwide movement to safeguard democratic rights. He said, "This theft is not just of votes, but of your rights."

 

 'PM Modi and RSS Run a Government for Adani-Ambani'

In his address, Gandhi sharply criticized the central government, alleging that "PM Modi and RSS run a government for Adani and Ambani."

He urged supporters to unite against 'vote theft' to protect democracy.

"Bihar’s People Have Sent a Clear Message"

Gandhi noted that the unprecedented support from Bihar’s people shows that the 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' has resonated deeply and its impact is extending beyond state boundaries.

Tejashwi Targets PM Modi

Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, addressing the rally, said, "The votes of Bihar’s people are being stolen. Narendra Modi wants to deceive the people of Bihar, but he doesn’t know this is Bihar—here, we add a pinch of lime with our paan." 

He added, "The BJP wants to snatch your rights, but we must fight together for our voting rights. We need to bring change in Bihar and form a Mahagathbandhan government.

Akhilesh Yadav Slams Central Government

Samajwadi Party president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav also joined the yatra.

Speaking at the Ara rally, he said, "Narendra Modi, who once intimidated the entire country, is now scared of Trump. The U.S. has imposed tariffs on India, creating a crisis for businesses, but the BJP isn’t even talking about it. The U.S. has slapped tariffs on India, and along with it, on the BJP’s face as well."

'BJP is Stealing Votes'

VIP party founder Mukesh Sahni said, "Baba Saheb’s Constitution gave us the right to vote, but the BJP is stealing your votes. We are all fighting against this, and we must unite to stop this 'vote theft'."
