Imperial College London announces scholarships worth GBP 4 lakh for Indian students studying in the college
London, APr 30:-- Imperial College London has announced scholarships worth GBP four lakh for Indian students studying in the college. Out of which 50 per cent of the scholarship will be given to female students from India. Science and Technology Minister Dr Jitendra Singh today visited the Imperial College London in the United Kingdom and interacted with the Indian students of the college. Imperial College London is a public research university. In the last five years, Imperial academics co-authored over one thousand 200 research publications with partners at more than 300 Indian institutions.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Singh highlighted that India has emerged as the third-largest global start-up ecosystem, growing at an annual rate of 12 to 15 per cent. He said, there are lots of opportunities to expand the India-Imperial connection through various programmes to create a global impact.
