Bhojpuri singer Samar Singh arrested from Rise Colony of Ghaziabad
Ghaziabad, Apr 7, (Fast Mail News):-- Bhojpuri singer Samar Singh has been arrested by the Crime Branch of Varanasi and Ghaziabad Police Commissionerate from High Rise Colony of Raj Nagar Extension area under Nandgram police station area. He is accused of abetting Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey's suicide.
Samar Singh was hiding in Charms Crystal Society located in Rajnagar Extension of Nandgram police station area. Police say that he was constantly changing places in Ghaziabad, Noida, Delhi and Uttarakhand to avoid arrest.
On March 26, Akanksha was found dead in room number 105 of a hotel located in Buddha City Colony, Sarnath area. She was sitting on her bed and her scarf was tied around her neck with the help of a fan hook. After this, Akanksha Dubey's mother accused Samar Singh of abetting her to commit suicide. He also alleged that Samar wanted Akanksha to act in films and songs only with him. He didn't even give money for working. When she used to go to work with someone else, he used to torture her mentally and used to beat her.
He had filed a complaint against Bhojpuri singer Samar Singh and his brother Sanjay Singh by making other allegations including harassment, after which the police started investigation by registering a case of abetment to suicide. Samar Singh is basically a resident of Mehnagar of Azamgarh. He was absconding after the death of Akanksha Dubey. Since then the police was looking for him.
