Navy achieves anti-ship missile capability by firing MRSAM
The MRSAM system has been jointly developed by DRDO and Israeli Aerospace Industries (IAI). There is also active participation of Indian public and private defense industry including MSMEs. Once launched, the MRSAM is fully capable of shooting down any missile, fighter aircraft, helicopters, drones and surveillance aircraft that come within a radius of 70 km. It can strike and attack enemies at a speed of 2469.6 kilometers per hour.
