Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat escapes with minor injuries,car collides with divider

DEHRADUN:Former Chief Minister and Congress leader Harish Rawat's car collided with a divider while going from Haldwani to Kashipur at night. Rawat suffered minor injuries in the accident. He was discharged from the hospital after treatment.

Harish Rawat said that this accident occurred near Bazpur. Getting information, the police arrived at the sopt and admitted him to KVR Hospital in Kashipur

According to the police, Harish Rawat was going from Haldwani to Kashipur in his car with some workers on Tuesday night. At around 12:05 am, his car collided with the divider while attempting to overtake a loader vehicle near Bazpur railway crossing. Harish Rawat, who was sitting on the front seat, got injured in this incident. On the instructions of SSP, CO Bajpur Bhupendra Singh Bhandari reached the spot. CO Bhandari said that Harish Rawat was admitted to Kashipur hospital.
