Angul: Body of a care taker found hanging from a tree
ANGUL:Angul police recovered a dead body this morning. which was hanging on a tree at the bank of Ranigoda pond under Angul town police area.
The name of the deceased was bania Behera,55 of Ranigoda village.Interestingly his pet dog was found guarding the dead body and was not allowing anybody including police to recover the body.After a great trial police managed to drive away the dog and recovered the body from the tree.
Though police believes it a case of suicidal the family members of the deceased alleged murder.Behera was the care taker of the pond which was auctioned and alerted to on eof the villager.He was staying o the bank of the pond.he was hale and hearty till last evening as per version of the locals.
IIC Dhiresh dash who rushed to the spot said he had received a complaint of murder from the brother of the deceased.He said police are awaiting the post mortem report. and will come to a conclusion after that.
Police are investigating the case to find out the truth.
