Prithvi Shaw smashes record-breaking double century

New Delhi, Aug 10, (Fast Mail News):-- Prithvi Shaw set the stage on fire with a record-shattering knock in the Metro Bank One Day Cup on August 9. The opening batter scored a superb 153-ball 244 for Northamptonshire against Somerset.

The right-hander’s knock was filled with 28 fours and 11 sixes, meaning that he scored a staggering 178 runs through boundaries alone. Shaw helped his side post a total of 415/8 on the board. In reply, Somerset were bowled out for 328.

Shaw’s 244 is the sixth-highest individual score in List A cricket history and the fourth-highest by an Indian in the format.
